Frequently asked
How do I set a price alert?
Open the Alerts tab, tap the add (+) button, choose the karat, set your target price, and select whether you want to be notified when the price rises above or falls below it. You'll get a push notification the moment your target is reached.
Why is the price different from my local jeweler?
Dhahabi shows the live international spot gold price converted to Saudi Riyal per gram. Local jewelers add workmanship, margin and VAT on top, so the shop price is normally higher than the raw metal price shown here.
What do the karats (24, 22, 21, 18) mean?
Karat measures gold purity. 24K is pure gold; 22K, 21K and 18K contain progressively more alloy, so their per-gram price is lower. 21K is the most commonly traded karat in Saudi Arabia.
How does the daily price summary work?
In notification settings you can turn on a daily summary and choose the time and the karats you care about. Each day at your chosen time you'll receive the latest prices and the daily percentage change.
I'm not receiving notifications.
Make sure notifications are enabled for Dhahabi in your iPhone Settings → Notifications, and that the relevant toggles are on inside the app's notification settings. Alerts also require an internet connection to check live prices.
How do I use the value calculator?
Open the Calculator tab, enter the weight in grams and choose the karat, and the current value in Saudi Riyal appears instantly. The calculator also covers zakat on gold and the nisab threshold.
Does the app require an account? What about privacy?
Dhahabi needs no sign-up. Every feature works immediately, and we don't collect your name, email address, or any personally identifying data.
